We’re really, really, really tired of having taglines about music legends who have died.
We’re really, really, really tired of having taglines about music legends who have died.
Merle Haggard passed away on April 6th, and it has taken just about 20 days for people to try to politicize his death.
Mr. Misunderstood has finally broken his silence.
The final week of January was a big one for Aubrie Sellers, who gave her first television performance, released her first album, and appears poised for an outstanding 2016. Elsewhere a fairly light news week which includes a short but solid list of new releases as well as troubles for Jamey Johnson, Tyler Farr and Katie Armiger.
The upper half of our albums list reflects the revitalization of country music in 2015, courtesy of mostly younger artists with fresh perspectives in their lyrics and arrangements. There is still a legend or two in the mix, but if this year has proven anything, it’s that the genre’s future is in good hands.
