Hadley McCall Thackston has been one of the most enjoyable debuts of 2018. With a debut album that incorporates a little bluegrass, country, folk and even some jazzy vocal riffs, the Decatur, Georgia native is a welcome addition to the Americana scene. Her new video, “Ghost,” is debuting here on Country Universe, in case you need something a little supernatural-sounding to get you in the mood for Halloween.
Enjoy Hadley’s vibe so much!! Pleased to have discovered her this past summer at Wolfe Island, near Kingston Ontario, where her producer has a residence/recording studio. Her style is hard to pin down and crosses into various genres. I look forward to seeing more from this very talented, up-and-coming import from the US…who’s come to Canada, for a change!!
