Regular posts, including single reviews, will begin again tomorrow.
In the meantime, today’s Daily Top Five is perfect for the day in question.

How has no one mentioned “Tough Little Boys” by Gary Allan yet?! Came to mind immediately.
Also…looking forward to the return of single and album reviews. I’ve been sorely missing those.
I’m shocked no one has mentioned my all time favorite, Daddies Hands by Holly Dunn!
I was always a little worried about where Daddy’s Hands had been.
How about….
DADDY WAS AN OLD-TIME PREACHER MAN–Dolly Parton
“Thats my Job” Conway Twitty
“Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind”
“Drive for Daddy Gene”
“Love Without End Amen”
“Dadddy’s Hands”
Bonuses, because Daddy can be such a hard job sometimes.
“Alyssa Lies”
“I dont Call Him Daddy”
I, too, find it interesting how long it took for “Daddy’s Hands” by Holly Dunn to be named by a responder. In today’s politically correct world, I wonder if such a song, which positively alludes to childhood spankings (as touching as this classic song may be), would ever make it on the air waves. Could be a fascinating topic to cover . . . .
