Amazon has posted their August “50 for $5.00” selection, and they’re offering two top-selling country albums for $5.00.
First up is Darius Rucker’s country album Learn to Live, which is close to spawning three #1 singles. I didn’t have any of them, so I’m buying it:
Second is Jason Aldean’s debut album, which includes the hits “Hicktown”, “Amarillo Sky” and “Why”:
Clicking through the above links to purchase these albums or anything else at the Amazon store helps support Country Universe. Dan is saving up for a new Bentley, so help him out!
In actuality, I’d be impressed with myself if I managed to save up enough for a nice guitar. I have a tendency to blow cash on discounted music and grocery items I don’t need.
I might consider downloading the Aldean set, although I already own “Amarillo Sky,” the only single of his I’ve fully liked so far.
That’s right, Papa needs some new wheelz!

Rucker’s single went #1 today, despite Dan’s many protests (if I remembered correctly).
Y’all could put a ‘Help Dan Get a Guitar” charity button through pay pal donate or something….
Ha. Regrettably, many songs go number one these days despite our protests.:)
Yeah, I still hate that frickin’ song. The first two singles were decent enough, though.
I still haven’t decided to buy it yet, even at only $5. I’m sure I will by the end of the month though. It’s hard for me to pass up a music sale.
