Willie Nelson’s voice is as thrilling as ever these days. It is unique and unpolished, but it is dripping with charisma. “You Don’t Think I’m Funny Anymore” finds his voice still strong and vibrant, in spite of his seventy plus years.
The character in this song laments the realization that his wife or girlfriend no longer thinks he’s funny. Not only does she not think he’s funny, he admits that he doesn’t think he’s funny anymore either. The examples of his jokes and antics support that they are both correct in their conclusion that he isn’t funny. In fact, he quite possibly wasn’t ever funny in the first place.
Despite the ridiculousness of this lyric, the song is fun and Willie’s self deprecation is endearing. Moreover, the production does well to harken back to the classic Willie Nelson sound that we all know and love.

The fact that Willie uses the phrase “dirty whore” in the lyrics makes me want to give it airtime all the more.
Харошенькая статья, по делу и неплохой стиль изложения.
