Ty Herndon, “Right About Now”
This works as a thematic successor to his debut hit, “What Mattered Most.” Not quite sure why he felt the need to go so high at parts, but it’s a solid song by a vocalist that never fully had the commerical success or consistency of material that his talents deserved.
This sounds like a mid-90’s single in the very best way, with a production that doesn’t get in the way of the song or the singer. I’m glad he’s back.
